Mark the date, I left the house...
10:14 p.m.-November 10, 2001

I can't wait till I have my shopping wrapped up. I finished Laura's tonight anyway. I got her a gift certificate at the Christian bookstore at the mall, so she can get whatever she wants. She's not one of those people who gets all offended by gift certificates. LOL She likes being able to get what she wants, I think.

I rather like it, too, but I don't get gift certificates all that often. If you're buying me a present, I adore Barnes and Noble and Hastings. ;) Might as well help ya out there, huh? LOL

So anyway, as evidenced by the shopping talk, we loaded up and went to the mall tonight. It wasn't very crowded, so that was good. Santa's there already! Can you believe that? I remember a time when he wasn't there till after Thanksgiving! It's really weird.

I wanted to get something for Mom while I was there without her, but I couldn't figure out what to get her. I really have no clue. I wanted to get her one of those really lovely dolls at the doll stand, but I didn't have $119.

After we left the mall, we were going to go to the carnival, but it was a sea of people, and we really wouldn't have been able to get in. So, we went to Toys R Us and wandered around instead, and then to Taco Bell, cause Sammi's addicted to it. LOL I just got a Dr. Pepper, and then had Matt's crunchy taco that came with his combo meal. I wasn't all that hungry, and I didn't want to spend any money on food, and even though he volunteers, I feel guilty when Matt pays for everything... Uh, so yeah, that's that.

Then we went to the gas station, and rode around for a bit.

At least I wasn't sitting at home. :) Actually, I had a rather good time for being driven around by Matt. He was almost normal.

I got a bit ahead of myself there. We had Sammi's birthday "party" before we went out. I got her the "Lord of the Rings" movie book (don't die, Suzi, you can get it at Wal-Mart), Ethan got her a teddy bear, Matt got her an Elms CD, and Mom and Dad gave her the awesome jacket she'd been pining for from Vanity. She was very happy.

She's even happier now, cause she gets to go to church in the morning. LOL At least happy for now.

Ethan and I are going to see "Monsters Inc." in the morning. At least I guess it'll just be me and him, I don't think that Mom and Dad are going. That'll be fun. I want to see it, and I haven't been to the movies since July! Argh! And then there's Harry Potter next weekend, of course! Can't wait for that. And then "Kate and Leopold" in December. I don't know if there's anything else between that. Probably not.

I came home, and the Buffy ep "Angel" was on. I was taping it, but I watched the last half anyway. God, he just makes me want to fall over on the floor. He's so pretty. *weeps* At the end when they kissed, I'd have killed to be Buffy right then. hehe I'd kill to be Buffy a lot these days. She gets to make out with hunka hunka vampires. Lucky girl.

Well, I'll be going now. That's all. :)
